I've had these chains for years. Today i cam across a 4Runner buried to the hood in snow and ice as it went off the highway between West Yellowstone and Big Sky in 14F. Took 50' to reach from the rear hitch to the road where i connected to 1-1/4 Vulacan Recovery. One tug from my 2008 F350 6.4L and the 4Runner was out of the snow. Only replacing because the rope is much easier to manage while in waist deep snow. Excellent chain.
