We needed to get all my sons books and magazines that he collects up off the floor in his closet. This shelf is 6 shelves high and holds a lot of books. It's sturdy and durable and well made. It's made from thick wooden shelfs reinforced with a metal frame. The best thing is that it can be assembled within 30 minutes. It comes with all the hardware needed and well laid out instructions. Great choice !This vertical shelf was very easy to assemble and had clear, easy to follow instructions. The shelves are also very sturdy.I put it in exposed pantry To store my canned and nonperishable food items on them. The space between each shelf allows me to stack a couple levels high which maximizes my space available to its fullest. Even with the added weight these are stable! These are perfect for your bathroom, pantry, living room, kitchen, or even garage. Worth the price!Assembly is a breeze and instructions are quite easy to understand (and I'm no handyman). I choose this bookshelf because it fit the dimensions I needed for my closet and had the best combination of price and style. It is sturdy and the shelves can surprisgnly enough hold well, especially my bowling ball bag with the ball in it, if that tells you anything. All in all, I'm pleased.I JUST got these put together. Most of the cubbies I have are the wooden ones so I took a chance purchasing these. I like that I can assemble these in different ways. I bought them for my huge linen closet. I needed a storage solution and didn't want to spend a ton. These are convenient and much more sturdy than I thought they'd be! Very happy with these!!It’s just an okay product. It was not expensive, so I don’t give too much expectation for this shelves. The good side is that it’s easy to ensemble. The bad side is that it’s has just okay quality. And it had a little strange smell when I first open the box, though it disappeared later. Anyway, it worth the money, at least from my perspective.Better than advertised.I liked the shelves, built well.To me, putting two pieces of plastic on the poles then push the shelf over them, that's all you have to stop that metal shelf from going down. Very strange design.Nothing given to strengthen it from twisting. My suggestion if you buy this, get some metal straps and secure it.The metal straps have holes in it, plumbers use it to secure water lines and pipes.Put an "X" in the rear (left top to right bottom and right top to left bottom. Place screw & nut , tighten, where they cross) and one from top right to bottom left and top left to bottom right on both sides. You can use the same direction on both sides.Once you start to assemble it, you'll understand what I'm telling you.In theory, this works and looks good.If you're going to store heavy items on it, make sure to secure it.Sorry, just being honest. Just my opinion.Buyer beware - This shelf is very small. Not very wide or tall. Returns aren’t free either. Received label to return to China at my own expense.
