I had to return these. The color in person was off from what it looks like online. They are also super light and not sturdy at all. Not the look I was expecting.Love these hooks! They are a beautiful dull gold color, are easy to install with a level and a screwdriver, and they are very sturdy!They were a little lighter than expected. They're built very sturdy and easy to install. Fantastic looking hooks for your bathroom or shower (or anywhere else you want to put them).These look and perform as you would expect. Mounting them is fairly straightforward.The listing says the hook can hold 50 lbs but I dont think thats accurate. The backing plate is secured by a tiny little lock nut. I suppose if you mount this directly to a wooden stud and torque down the lock nut as far as it will go...maybe it could hold 50 lbs. If you try to attach this to drywall and put 50 lbs on it I'm certain that will rip it right out of the wall.For a drywall installation you can probably safely put just a few lbs on it. This is true of any standard hook installation in most types of drywall.
