We really liked these wall hooks and bought two packs in order to hang my wife's sun hats in a guest bedroom. The only downside was that two hooks failed. The counter sunk hole wasn't deep enough on one, so when the threaded portion of the screw went into the dowel, it stripped the anchor nut out. Another had a crack in the wood which caused the anchor nut to fail. We screwed these into sheet rock and only a couple hit a stud. For our application they worked well.Hooks themselves look great. Screws are thick and sturdy but the included dry wall anchors are not that great. I used drywall anchors that i purchased at my local hardware store and they are fantastic. Used two to hold up a 7 pound decorative axe with no problems.Are used this at church for one of our members to hang his hat as he comes in the door. They are sturdy, easy to install, and look great.Some of the hangers colors match the product pictures here but others don’t. It’s lighter stain. I specifically wanted this color. It’s annoying. They’re not looking what they’re placing inside the box? Returning the itemI loved the look of these but unfortunately when tightening on the wall they leave scuff marks and damage the paint.I order 6pk. 2 out of 6 color are much lighter. I have to return them.I bought them to use as hat hooks. I couldn't find proper hat hooks to protectively hold handwoven lauhala hats. I need to keep the brim and crown from being pressured too hard in one spot. Because these have a nice round shape and edge, I think they will work. I planned to mount them upside down for that purpose, but I don't think I even need to do that. What makes these so perfect is the rounded edge where you place items is wide- distributing the pressure, even though hats are lightweight. These are VERY handsome and even if they don't end up working for the hats, I would keep them. Once I get the hats up I will add photos.Installed a few to make a hat wall for my wife. She loves it.DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL AS IN THE VIDEO!If you insert twist the knob on the screw first then try to screw the whole thing into the wall anchor then the bolt inside the knob will strip away from the wood (see picture).Instead try this:Drill hole. Insert wall anchor. User pliers to screw in the screw (be gentle). Twist the knob on.Once you have them on they seem great.They are beautiful but the plastic wall anchors just spin when you try to insert the screw. The end result is not sturdy and firm. They just hang loose and flop around in the hole when you youch them.Love these hooks! Once they are installed, which isn’t difficult, they look and work great. It’s all about those darn anchors and knowing NOT to use them. And a gentle touch screwing the hooks into place. (We unfortunately lost one hook …but a little glue got us back to the half dozen)Looks great. the drywall anchors do not hold the screw into the wall. It may be the anchors are too small for the double sided screwThe anchor would turn around and cause the hole in the drywall to be bigger.Tried alternate anchors and same story.completely disappointed in this productEasy to install and very sturdy, very cute in my sons nursery to hang things easily near his change table
